"About 3 years ago Forest City Church launched the Elgin Campus with a shared spirit to do church in an authentic way. We became a community who’s vision was to be a multicultural, egalitarian, intergenerational church doing life together in Christ for the Common Good. We are grateful to Forest City Church for gathering this crew together and giving us the opportunity to be the church. In this next chapter, it is our prayer that Common Good Church will be a fuller expression of what we started out to be. 

May we be present in our city and with our neighbors. May we care for each other. May we love God with our whole heart, mind, and strength. And may we practice the way of Jesus in a way that brings transformation to us and to our communities. May we see more of His Kingdom come."
