Hurricane Ida Relief
Hurricane Ida made landfall near Port Fourchon, Louisiana on August 29th, and has since left over one million homes and businesses without power. In addition, communities have been presented with even more imminent danger from possible threats of flooding. Food for the Hungry is supporting multiple trusted partners on the ground as they seek to address the immediate needs that present themselves in the lives of the people affected by Ida. The focus of the immediate response will be to provide accessible and available clean water, food, and medical care to those in need. We ask that you join us in prayer for all affected by Ida and that you’d join us in prayer for the relief efforts as we all, the Church, look to walk with our brothers and sisters during this time.
